Walking alone, I am..
Clasping those few moments together in my hands,
Trying not to let them escape, but they do so ...like silver sands.
I have walked a thousand miles to this day...
Looking at time....
Time that stood still... while you moved further away...
I trundled along...
Through sandy deserts and stormy seas....
Thirsting for those words that bring me peace...
But you remained this beautiul Illusion.
I hurriedly looked around to catch your eye,
but you got lost in all the confusion...
But it wasnt you who was lost
You always were shining like a beacon
never once did I realise...
Lost was I - one in a million fireflies...

The imagery is beautiful,
This holds great sadness, it is so deep hun.
Ive read this poem four times now and everytime i just love it more than the last.
