I look into the water,
Reflecting over my life
Something so insignificant
Yet so important to one person
What if I jump in?
Just let myself fall?
Shatter my imperfect reflection
To see from the other side
The window of the two-way mirror
To watch, unchanging
While everything changes
To be rid of naivety
And know unwaveringly
I look into the water
Watching my life pass by
And walk away because I don't want to know
What is this life, if not nave?
