Somewhere you started
Started trusting
In me
In our everything
Will we ever look back
Or will we always be
A moment
Something unbreakable by time
Could anybody measure us
Who we are and what we have
Or is what we have something
That is invested in the smallest senses
Touch, feel, action and reaction
Are we merely these imageries of destiny
An unearthly desire for eternal satisfaction
Are we settling for less than we are
Are we giving in
Giving up
More than the price
Well over the amount of tenderness
Disregard to any spite
Disregard to it all
All we are is trust
Invested in the smallest senses
When will we touch
The unearthly desire
When will we feel
Eternal satisfaction
Will we ever look back
To our everything
And find emptiness
Or will we always be
A moment
