When your partner looks at you
can you feel it in your heart
do you know it in your soul
that you're truly wanted and loved?

Sometimes when we're together
it's a feeling like no other
Sometimes it feels like it's
a last resort partnership
We both so eagerly needed to
feel wanted by someone
But how can I live like this
knowing you don't desire me
I know you love me but more so
as a friend than a lover
It's in your eyes and in your touch
I hold on to the hope that maybe
you'll come around
Maybe if I change enough you will
finally want me as a lover and wife
