Hangers and a Paper Bag
You turned your back to me
I couldn't see
I loved you ever so dearly
Nothing could I see clearly
Days were bad and nights dreary
My eyes often teary
Why couldn't you see I always wanted you happy
I am me
Always trying to be what you wanted of me
Maybe
It could be
That we
Were we to young to be married
After a few years troubles came along
Each of us was right and wrong
My love for you so very strong
It broke my heart my strings were strung
The feelings I had couldn't be undone
I lost your love my heart broken
I lost loves song
I softly cried
Days months years passed by
Onward I tarried
Kept a brave face but inside a love for you I had to hide
I missed you by my side
After all these many years I can now say I loved you dear Good Bye
