Longing for death

Contributed by Apolla on Tuesday, 14th December 2004 @ 05:57:16 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I lie here,
Longing for death,
For my body to be set free.
Only then I know,
Then, I shall be fully happy.
No longer vulnerable to the pains and the corruption of the world,
But free to roam in the kingdom of kings.
Am I worthy of such dreams?
Or am I too pained to ever be able to appreciate.
I long to be glorified,
In heaven with endless oppertunities.
I watch as the clock slowly ticks away,
Wondering how long it's going to take me to die,
To shed the pain and leave it behind.
Until then I lie waiting restlessly,
For death to come and take me.

It's mine dream to. That one re-ocuring dream... But I know it won't be mine to embrace for a while. Deep and very touching.
