Invisible Anny
Singing songs in the rain
Invisible Anny
Living a lie to be void of the pain
All that comes and goes
All that goes and comes
Nothing is the same
When you have nothing to gain
All she did before
Got her out the door
So now she is in the dark
In the lonely park
Singing in the rain
Singing of her pain
The bench that she sleeps on
Could never hope to keep her warm
But still she sings her song
The entire day long
No one turns their ear
They pretend that she isn't there
Invisible Anny
Singing songs in the rain
Invisible Anny
Living a lie to be void of the pain
A long long time ago
When she was just a child
Her parents would hold her close
Now they feel she is vile
Her tears are mixed with the rain
To her they are the same
Flowing together as one
Until her final day
Day after day
She feels alone and out of place
She wants to find a home
But can not find a way
She feels as though there's hope
That her life will turn around
Yet time goes forever on
And now she is in the ground
