The sharpened shards of death
Come flying at my soul
Tearing me to pieces
Its taking all control
Its killing me so slowly
Making sure I suffer enough
Cannot leave me standing
Holding on is becoming tough
Im falling to the floor
Broken like shattered glass
Nothing left of me
I didnt think this pain would last
I can see the shadow of death
It haunts me in my dreams
It stands over me while Im sleeping
And muffles all my screams
Soon it will be over
No more fight left inside
I will let go forever
And in deaths arms I will hide

| A majorally gripping and intense write...had me on the edge of my seat...so excellently written...and in words that bought such a vivid reality...awesome poem. |
