I Try For All Of You

It is another day and I am tired but cannot fall asleep
It is five in the morning and that is what I am full of mourning
I did not want to write but I had to it is the only way I know
To chase my demons away
They pick up the blade and put it to my hands
If I do not want to cut they do it for me
If I do not want to look in the mirror
They grab me by the hair and slam my face against it
So I write and try to chase them away
They are getting stronger but so is what I write
Every one wonders why that is and now they know
I really feel so very low and a lot of people around me are
Just falling apart and I cannot help
My friend Stacey whom I love so much is having a hard time
I feel like I cannot help her even though she said I do
But how can I when I feel the way I do
How can I do anything when all I can think of is you?
I have someone I love but I still do not feel whole
I still have no hope or want to look to the future
The last friend I have here wants to leave and move far away
I want to go with him when he does but I am not sure I can
My life is getting even harder to live and I do not know what to do
I do not know how long I will last this way
But I will try to just for all of you
Who read what I write and can relate
All the great friends that I have made
I really do love you all so much
But I cannot help wanting to give up

| very intense and written with so much passion for others....at least you are stilling to keep trying to keep your demons at bay...there are many in this world who just give up without even trying....I like the way your words flow, following each line...like music spreading into our hearts your words are magic in the wind of change...such a beautiful talent to be able to weave as you do....so unique and beautiful...I can feel the strength...woven into this poem...and feel that is how you are helping others by showing them hope...not much but enough for them to keep trying as you do each and every hour.... |

well i certainly can relate to this.
be strong.
it's so ihard i know.
2 of my mates are suicidal, i'm hanging on for them.
... and i hope that you'll find some thing to hang on for too.
