Love can be eternal
But roses dont last
Death can be an obstacle
Thats hard to get past.
Keep the thoughts and memories
That are hard to let go
Share the happy moments
That others need to know.
Remember the good times
To have and to hold
These are more important
Than any amount of gold.
The past has gone by
The future yet to come
Wherever you are
I hear your graceful hum.
From up above
You look down at me
Your wings beating softly
And Im glad that youre free.
Whenever Im lonely
Ill listen to hear
Your beautiful music
So I know that youre there.
That Im not alone
Through struggles and tears
Past heartbreaks and hurdles
And ones that I fear.
Ill always miss you
Your sweet face and scent
Those words that I said
I really meant.
That Ill love you forever
My words are sincere
Memories of you are a necklace
That Ill always wear.
