Do you see the light
As it shines so bright
And timbers shaken
And so its not alright
That you almost died
What a worldly demise
As to say
That I should sacrifice
The world I have today
For a world that’s said to be tomorrow
For a heaven of such paradise
that’s actually the government
Controlling our lives
Making safe havens
In a world of compromise
What I mean to me
Is nothing no one should see
For love knows no greater bond
Then the one you could have with me
In this world that shares no tandom
With a Christ they want to see
For god is only a figment
That your eyes just wish to see
Believing is a sacrifice
That god won’t steal from my life
And I will dream
And be what I be
Till the day that I die
For it to end there
Is my one true wish
By then I won’t wanna exist
And then I’ll see
What I really will be
What a great demise it shall be
For me---now do you see???
