i know i love her
i'm just afraid to admit it
i know i want her
i'm just afraid to believe it
how long this will last
i may never know
it happened so fast
so how could i show
how much i love her
in that short period of time
but sometime in the future
i hope she'll be mine
mine to hold
and mine to care for
mine to show
that i'll be there for her
i know i love her
and i'm afraid to admit it
but maybe someday
she'll be able to depict it
someday when
the stars are bright
someday when
we lay in the night
hand in hand
the wind will blow
and that is when
she will know
how much i love her
how much i care
she'll finally realize
that i'll be there
