Simulation

Simulation

Poison drifting through my veins
Evil bonding me in chains
Unforgiving, rancid minds
None of life was ever kind

Digesting what is left of you
Soon my pain better be through
Always hating what I am
Thinking up some awful scam

Never wanting more than this
Without you, life will be bliss
Forgotten by the unforgiven
Always hating the world I live in

Scorning more than I should
Living underneath the hood
Under the hood where darkness reigns
Under darkness I shall remain

Inside my world, my world of fear
Inside my heart I shed a tear
A tear of hate toward all of you
A tear of light to get me through

A simple mind can change a life
A simple hand with a simple knife
Simplicity will kill us all
Simplicity will make us fall

Im left alone in my own mess
Left alone under the reign of darkness
In the shadow of darkness I see a light
But nothing now is worth the fight

This is good... sounds like it could be translated well into song lyrics. Do you play any instruments?

I like the vagueness of your poem, because I certinally know what it means for me, but it might mean something else entirely for a different person, and I don't know what you had in mind when you wrote it.

Good job.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
