Sleep now
Sleep
Dream of the snow
The flakes falling on my tongue
In the winter haze I watch
I watch my blade
Dancing
Dancing to a masochistic lullaby on my skin
Trickles of tortured self-worth
And a self-destructive pattern of creativity streaming down my arms
Icicles of anguish linger from my eyes
Sweet, sweet relief
Sleep now
Sleep
