Hes slowly passing from this world.
I watch him day-by-day,
to check his life has quality,
that hes not in pain.
(Now, I know that this sounds sad, or worse,
but thats so far from the truth.
Theres no living creature here on earth
who can claim eternal youth.)
This old mans name is Whiskas
and hes twenty-seven now.
Work that out in cat years,
but please dont ask me how.
He came to us in 92,
too old to find a place.
So, he joined our little family,
all of whom are furry-faced.
Hes like a Duracell battery;
he just goes on and on.
I hope he lasts forever
and proves the experts wrong.
Until the time he flies away
to join our Spirit friends.
We will cherish every day
with our special little friend.
Well, thats my tale in black and white,
as well-defined as he.
So, now I have some words to write
about the other three..=^..^=
