i have a mentel picture of you in my mind
but that beautiful mental picture
has melted over time
like a plastic barbie in an oven
oozing , dripping away
the colors all come together
and forms such an ugly gray
that is waht i see when i think of you
the color falls and it cascades
its like writing your name on a window
and watching it slowly fade

A melting barbie ... now there's a mental image. LIke a curling photograph in the fire, sometimes the images we hold onto warp into something less desireable. Succinct write.
