They'll Learn

Contributed by AngryBunny on Thursday, 28th November 2002 @ 10:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I can still remember the things all of you said
Every night they ran through my head
As I lied awake in bed
None of you understand the impact you have
How with one cruel word
You can make someone sad
Day after day I put up with this
But I'm so much stronger
I got over it
Yet all of you are still very so the same
You've never grown, never changed
Your lame hearts still remain
You pray upon the weak
Because of your own insecurities
And laugh at your sick pranks
Because your mind is so dank
I almost feel sorry for
You're all just sheep
But I know what it feels like to be your fuel
So I hope someday you all learn
What it felt like to be them and me
When you feel low and tips are all that you earn
At least I can say without any shame
That I'm proud to be different
That I'll never be a copy, never be the same

I've met people who like to
humiliate and mock other's i dont
care for those people at all, they
judge quickly and get a laugh out
of hurting other's. Thanks for sharing
this one it gives one alot to think about
Keep em' coming

I like your poem. It's like a nice version of a few things I've written.

I look at it this way... if these people you speak of are all going to heaven I'm going to enjoy hell. At least I'll be rubbing elbows with a better class of people.
