Beautiful Blood

Contributed by tissueshaveissues on Saturday, 18th December 2004 @ 10:54:09 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Sitting here a blade in my hand
the choice between life and death
the barrier from this life to the next
In my hands I contemplate
The fear inside me
I must go on
I cant back out now
So I draw the blade to my wrist
and I slash away
I wach my blood run free
Something I've always longed to be
Soon I will be dead
As I lay my weary head
I am free at last

i don't know if you've ever slashed your wrist....I have, and for me well, it wasn't very peacefull.....in fact, as you start to lose a good bit of blood and shock starts to overcome you, you kinda start to wonder what the hell you're doing.....and by that point it's a little late....if your gonna kill yourself use a gun
one well placed shot is all it takes.....no consideration...no reflection...and no scars you have to explain to every girl(or boy) you date ^_^ nice write though

I can relate... Sometimes the need and want of cutting overpowers you to the point where you do it just to be free of it.. It is like you need to feed it and when it is sated it goes away until the next need rises... This to me was a sad and emotional poem but beautiful as well.. Keep writing...

Take care
Christina
