In the early days
He'd never beat her
Back then
No one was sweeter
but as days went on
He became delerius
all he did
was hit and cuss
it got worse as time went by
he was always drunk
and often high
then one night
he was acting tough
she then decided
enough was enough
she shot him
where she hurt
the blood poured
from his shirt
and she smiled
