Cheer spins in the chilled air
As people rush about
Seasonal spirit of wonder and joy
Invigorate the dull settled day
Fill our empty heart with light
Colorful lights adorn the streets
Playful figures bring delight
Entice the young innocent eyes
Remind us of childhood wishes
Fulfill our souls with fantasy and charm
Holiday treats tempt
Glittering golds sparkle
Rich reds warm the day
Crisp forest pine freshens the stale breath
Silver bells ring in the air
Sound of celebration and glory
Fill the silent night
As families gather round
Friends show their care
Extend your hand to all around
Open your heart to those in need
Not just those you select
For all life deserves a special day
A joyous holiday
The holidays are about giving
Remembering whats important
Reflecting on our faith
Filling our hearts with holiday spirit
Releasing our love with holiday joy
Let the angels fly above
Christmas is about love
