I travel down the road of life
The one that will bring me home
Back to the place of origin
Before I suffered life
We all must walk this way
But its never the same
This road is mine alone
A dark and twisting path
Not what I would have wished for
But I dont mind anymore
Most lies behind me now
Ive glimpsed the end of mine
Finally I know where I am
Such a relief to know my place
For a long time I was lost
But now I have a goal to follow
The past is but a fading memory
Soon Ill never know pain again
The remaining trip is very short
Just a few more steps to the end of life
