daddy's little girl

Daddy's little angel...
She smiles and makes his day bright.
She cries and brakes his whole world.
Daddy's little girl...
She's just a child, forever in his eyes.
But daddy stopped taking noticed,
He closed his eyes and counted to ten,,,
Now daddy's little girl is not so little anymore.
Daddy's little girl...
She wipes the sleep from her eyes.
The mascara on her pillow...
Daddy's little girl...
Cries herself to sleep each night.
Daddy's little girl,
He closed his eyes and missed all her hurt.
He closed his eyes and didn't love her when she needed it.
Daddy's little girl,
The not so little girl, who bears the hate of the world without him.

A very emotional poem, deep. I had problems of my own with my father.. i know the feeling. Keep your head high.
