Tonight

Contributed by bluebird on Monday, 20th December 2004 @ 04:46:10 AM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

He is coming to get me and I dont know what to do,
i am sitting here counting down the time; my mind running without a clue.
He called numerous times and said he came by,
he saw my family was home so instead he decided to fly.
But he told me he'd be back cuz he knew they were going to be gone,
I dont know how he knows everything he never seems to be wrong.
He will swing by probably around nine or ten,
then i will be finished, it will be my end.
I am still sitting here thoughts running through my head,
I know he is coming to put me to bed.
I didnt answer his calls so he is extremely mad,
he is going to kick me around and make me feel bad.
Tell me i should have answered and i deserved to be hit,
I am a horrible person and that i dont mean ****.
I am dreading tonight I cant handle it.
I am losing my mind I dont know where to go,
I have no protection no nothing to show.
Im so nervous I cant hardly think,
my eyes are spread wide open I cant even blink.
I knew this would happen but know what can i do,
I cant fight back, and no one to yell help to.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
