I wrote a poem for a women
It didn't have a meaning
and she wasn't touched
She wasn't relieved
I would settle in her arms
And make home there
Where I thought I belonged.
She never was flattered
When her voice belonged in the clouds
When she sung she would only admit,
To be just messing around.
She never did bother
To put one's heart at rest
So it is still throbbing
to beat through his chest.
She never did notice
Where I could be,
Since I'm risking my heart
She really has to be with me
(Because thats the way
I want it to be.)
