it's a strange realization
when you come to know that
all you've known is false.
and even though you've lived
with all their faults and
praised their lies throughout this farce,
they still mar your image of love and trust
and bruise and break your heart
and extinguish the light in your eyes.
it's a sad revelation to have when you realize that
"i'm sorry" has lost its meaning
and the claim that inflicted hurt
was never and will never be the intention
lacks any evocation of belief.

| That is so true...sorry does loose it 's meaning. It's time to get out and live your life before it's gone. You deserve better.. Nice write here., I hope to read more of your words in the future..take care |
