Confusion

This life is filled with questions
That build up everyday
Yet I am already confused
So why place more in me to stay
My life is overwhelming
Leaving me unsure of how to feel
Everything Ive ever knowns a lie
So can I be sure that this is real?
I dont know why I act this way
With the happiness I feign
Pretending Im content with life
Will upon me sorrow rains
And deep inside Ive realized
That Im in disarray
What used to bring me anger
Has a different effect today
And what used to bring me joy
Doesnt anymore
And another questions burns within
What is left to live for?
I thought that Id be happy
With how my life turned out
But all this new found happiness
I have begun to doubt
Ive grown envious for what
I cannot obtain
Yet the things that I do have
Only cause me bitter pain
I can no longer clearly think
Or feel
And I cannot be certain
As to what is real
