Inside Im slowly withering away
Yet outside it never shows
Cached behind my empty smile
The world will never know
My eyes they slowly lose their warmth
As my hope begins to fade
And my hearts begun to hollow out
An empty void its made
My minds obscured with a hazy fog
That barricades all light
A lingering darkness clouds my view
While Im consumed by lasting night
Yet each and every passing day
I go through with a smile
That so the world will think all is well
If only for awhile

| I'm exaclty the same way....great poem that i can relate to....I don't know about u but i am tired of being someone i'm not...i always find myself trying to make everyone else happy while i die inside......great poem....looking forward to reading more from you |
