Your unforgotten face
still lingers after all these years
The warmth it gives
The memories it brings
Back to the past
When love was upon us
Walking together
Thinking only of each other
It was at that moment
I knew I had my desire
The greatest gift
It was ultimate perfection
Yet there came a day
I felt a chill
A day I once fear would come
Your voice sounded different
A coward I was
How could I have lost a gift
that made me who I was
you left with out a goodbye
to a place unknown
My dreams and desires
shattered at that moment
Down I went
Almost to my demise
Yet I pulled together
Remembering the times
we were together
Locking them away
brought up each and every day
Your picture still with me
Your memories still strong
And now I am left
with only a fragrance
A fragrance so strong
And every time
I smell it
it only brings that feeling
that feeling of ♥ Love ♥

Sad yet happy at the same time. Funny how love does that to us, especially in reverie. The following passage really struck home for me, since the sense of smell is usually what triggers memories old and young.
And now I am left
with only a fragrance
A fragrance so strong
And every time
I smell it
it only brings that feeling
that feeling of ♥ Love ♥
