Sleeping in a deep sleep
i begin to dream
a dream feeling so real
my life is so perfect
not an ounce of sadness that i feel
all this happiness i have inside
everything going so right
no scars on my body
no tears from my eyes
my smiles and laughs are actually real
but then as i slowly wake up
and my eyes adjust to the light
i realize i was just dreaming
all my sadness is back
my pain is slowly taking over once more
and my scars are still here
i wish i could stay sleeping
live in my dream
for i know when I'm dreaming
everything will be OK
