I've been through the rain
through thunderstorms, and hurricanes
No laughs, just cries
cause sorrow always enjoys company
Seeing all the pain in my life
flash right in front of me
Sometimes when I sleep
Debris, fragments and things
Put together in a dream
With not o wonderful things appearing
Sleepless nights, Speechless fights
But here's a way to make wrongs, rights
Just wake up from nightmares, nughtscares
Remembering that things aint the same
Their not how they used to be
And you must remain unflinching if the good things decide to take a swing to the bad side
Because you must forever try to better your life
So always fight, And NEVER be afraid of the night

I agree sorrow always
enjoys company. I like the last
line where it says NEVER be afraid
of the night. This is beautiful.
