Frozen Tears

She laid there peacefully
as the Moon shined down,
creating dancing shadows
as the wind did blow.
Her fingers were curled
slightly, as she slept
there in the ground. A
shallow grave, a place for
her to call home now.
The bruises on her neck
reveal the manner of
death. So do the bluish
shaded lips ...
Frozen tears tain her cheeks.
