I hate myself for how I am
And how I continue to live this sham
Im the cause of harm and bringer of pain
With my self-esteem left to drain
My drastic mood swings and hazy thoughts
Torment is all I have brought
What the hell is wrong with me
What do you all see in me
If only I could turn back the hands of time
Then everything would be fine
For you at least but not for I
For Id still live within a lie
Just forget me but you I excuse
For all that I have done to you

Mood swings can devastate a relationship. What we do when down or manic can end up as regrets on so many occasions. A time machine would be a wonderful thing!!!! Heartfelt write, full of pain. Thanks for sharing.

| it was great dude, i really think the best poetry is the one brought on by the most pain, and regret has got to be the most painful thing in existance, i'd rather be cut limb from limb than live a life full of regret. |
