I cant lie to you I cant lie to my heart
You are all its asking for
So it wont feel so torn apart
Every waking hour it wants you more
So I just
Close my eyes and its as if I have traveled back in time
And I am there again looking into your eyes and seeing mine
My dark eyes dance there in the clarity of your own kind shades
Of beauty truly like an endless sky filled with a light that can never fade
But my memories of you do not do for my heart what it should
They fade away; leave me even if I hold on to them as much as I could
Why is it that I cant do what I want and
Why is it that we are so far apart I dont understand?
I want to take you by your hand and kiss your
Kiss your broken skin and have it haunt me more
Its just not fair
That we meet and fall yet to have so many things in the way of our destiny
Things that tear us apart when ever why try and get close things that want us to be empty
Empty shells with no happiness just filled with a suffering that kills our souls
Kills our souls so we wrought away and our bodies left with holes
Holes that once resonated with a shimmering glare of light
But that light has dimmed with out a heart to bear and that is not right
Because what use does a candle have if
The wick has burnt out before the candle melts
The wick can be replaced but it will still not be fully fixed
What use is having purpose if it is never met or felt?
My purpose is you
I dont want you to be wasted on me but I love you and want you to love me
I see everything in need in your soul everything that can just set my heart free
You are the strength the beauty in my words the flow in my poetry
You will always be so amazing, more perfect to me than anyone can be
You are more than a thousand times my angel and my faith is in you
I have made my church in your eyes and that is the only temple I know is true
