Shadows
To give my soul
That is not enough
My life to give
That is not enough
The heart yearns
The soul cries
I know you are near
Yet you are so far
Just barelyl out of reach
Years of searching
Years of wandering
Caught in a shadow
Yes I am
Afraid not am I
For I know what you are
For I am the same
Yet different some how
Two worlds spin
Spin inside yet a third
Giving birth to an ancient soul
One hwo only knows pain
And heartache
Yearning for the light
The light of understanding
And the light of fufillment
I stand in the shadow of love
Watching the doors
Of the soul in your eyes
Longing to dream yet again
To share that brief embrace once more
For I now know who I am
I am you
The answer is buried in your gaze
As we become trapped
In the shadow

I dropped in to return the favor of a read and and found an unremarked on piece ... what a way to make an introduction ... I'm hooked ... as my time this eve is fleeting, I shall return with vigor and explore further !!! My word, do I give on that. To start near the begining ... what a stroke of fortune. I did enjoy this read.
