I thought I would always need you
I thought i found a friend that was true
You said you would always be there
Maybe you just didn't care
You couldn't see it
but inside I was falling apart
You never even noticed i dissapeared
Then your girlfriend was for whom you only cared
As you walked behind me
I thought of how i missed you walking beside me
Only happy thoughts came to mind
At one point you were so kind
Now I sit here and think
Nothing but you and me
I feel as though you're making me sink
Because BEST FRIENDS is what we were suppose to be!

| I can relate...it's tough when a person chooses a boyfriend/girlfriend over a friend who's been there for them through thick and thin. Great write. |
