When I close my eyes and
Lifty up to Him my prayers
He gives me spiritual knowledge so sound
I'm filled with joy unbound
As I have my head respectfully bowed

I can sleep so sound
Comforted by His ever watching over me
The P.L.A. Choir:
I can rest in the Lord
I can give all of my dreams to Him
Never thrown off glory's ship
By the winds
Of troubling sins

I'm resting in the Lord
The Father through Jesus Christ the Son
He has His Grace shining in me
While I sleep
And oh, I will give Him honor
In my dreams
As Jesus Christ exudes
Such a glory-sheen
