Desecending Friendship

Contributed by sick_n_twisted on Sunday, 26th December 2004 @ 12:57:40 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

You dont want to talk to me
Your too good for our friendship to be
Its your attitude you've exchanged
From good to bad you've arranged
You were such a good friend
I didnt want our friendship to desecend
Your gone to the city you moved
Its our friendship you havent proved
But I still love you
Even with all the horrible thing you do

I really like this poem! Your friend has moved away and moved on from you and your life and you write about it like he died. I know when you lose a friend in this way its just about as bad as if they'd actually died. They are dead to you. Its a really good analogy for the situation, wish I'd thought of it! (I hope you did it intentionally hehehehe)

Nice poem. You express your feelings well. I've felt that way before with friends that have moved away too.

Thanks for your comment :-)
