depression, death, love, suicide, jacob

Contributed by Bohemian_with_a_pen on Sunday, 26th December 2004 @ 08:40:21 PM in AEST
Topic: Haiku

DEPRESSION:
love loses meaning
insomnia takes ahold
depression sets in

DEATH:
death is a haven
sheltering souls from the storm
that we call living

LOVE:
love is a disease
eating away at your soul
until hate is left

SUICIDE:
eternal bleeding
scars that will not fade away
Pain left with fam'lies

JACOB:
smiles that light up rooms
small arms reaching for a hug
my gorgeous nephew

Each one of these is more beautiful than the other. Truly some great haikus here...

i loved each one, and like jenni said they just kept getting better, especially liked having the personal one at the end which finished the piece well. would flow better without the titles maybe? or maybe you liked it the way it is :) whatever, was an ejoyable piece to read. katie xx

They're all very good.
JACOB is especially a very sweet haiku.
