Down with the whispers
Down with the lies
Down with the sick jokes that played throughout my life
Down with your promises
Down with my dreams
Down with your words that meant more than what they seemed
Down with our memories
Down with our love
Down with my thoughts of finding that one man that was safe to love
Down went a woman
Down went her faith
Down went everything she was, and was consumed with empty space

this was a great write, i loved reading this poem...it was one of those poems that left you breathless after u read it....its a beautiful write.......i love the last stanza
"Down went a woman
Down went her faith
Down went everything she was, and was consumed with empty space" i can relate, that is how i am feeling. this poem was amazing. keep it up |
