Jar of lies

Grief

In your jar of complaints i found a reason, A deadly sting of confusion. I sometimes refuse it myself and screw on the lid, But i see clearly through to your excuses. It fits well here and now its like open season. I blink away my stare of numbing pain. I tap at the glass to keep the contents alive, Set it in sunlight so it cant shrivel away. Little wines escape through the cracks, Pouting for its master in its best tone. If i had rasied it myself i'd give it away too, Come to think of it this complaint isn't alone. I feel them escaping through the creases on you I feel every mistake holding the gun down on you For every little regret you keep inside that jar I wish them into secrets and show them off like scars.

Wow I don't know what it is but this is the second poem I have read with tones of grief/revenge. It is imaginatively written and feelings are of no doubt............doug |

Very imaginative/creative. Something we all tend to do - bury our regrets, pain ,etc. |
