He Is

Contributed by Jamals_babie_gurl_69 on Wednesday, 29th December 2004 @ 04:46:06 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

He is the air I breathe, the water I drink, the tears in my eyes that run down my cheeks. He is the heartbeat that keeps me alive, the brilliant mind that keeps me thinking, the one that shows me what love is. But most of all He is the PAIN that makes me want to give up, the heartbreak that makes me wonder if life is worth living and the thoughts that keep me awake in tears at night. He is the only one that can break my heart this way. He is my Clay-ton.

I know this. It is a pain that all of us feel when we are in love and have been rejected. Ive never been able to write about it, but you have written about it perfectly. Well done. I respect you as a poet and as a person.

Things will get better soon, I promise.
