What Could Be
You want to give up
Give in to sin
You want to let go
Of all the pain within
And never ever know
What you could've been
If you could transcend
If you could've left a dent
You want to let go
Sick of holding on
Caught in the undertow
Till everything is gone
You want to let go
And never ever know
If life would've changed
With an end to pain
Or just stay the same
You're blinded by your misery
And only see half of everything
And that is all you believe
But I wish that you could see
That since life isn't worth living
How come so many are breathing?
Since life isn't worth trying
How come so many aren't dying?
They think their life is worth saving
And they keep on fighting
But you'll let go
To the undertow
You're dying to be free
Or because you're weak
You'll let go
Of what could be

| first off let me say...I love it. It is truly a great write and it makes sense. When i get into my 'moods' nobody can get through to me and everything seems bad. 'course I am a naturally pessimisstic person..heh heh. But we'll overlook that. lol. Again, great write. -Sami- |
