What are they doing here with their gold and silver
Like a tree spreading root
Or a cancer spreading death
When will they leave with their machines and slaves
Like the light of life
Or the darkness of death
How can they kill with their guns and empty souls
Like a bee for protection
Or a lion for food
Not all are bad with their hearts and sanity
Like a god saving
Or the devil betraying

| I liked your title for one, and the topic. I was thrown off by the line "Not all are bad with their hearts and sanity" and it seemed to me to go against the rest of the poem. But overall I liked it alot! |
