the sun rising in the east
the moon glowing in the west
wind blowing in the north
heat blazing in the south
me in the midwest
looking up at the stars
wondering what life would be lke tomorrow
thinking will it be another depressing moment
or another deppressing day
and when i find out that it is
i just sit back and say
hey this is my day
and i'll try to be
the best i can be
once i get this wonderful thought
i know that even though it is a depressing day
and depressing moment
i can make the best out of it all
because i am
being the best i can be

| wow this is awesome and so inspirational and hopeful! i really appreciate it cause i kno myself sometimes i lose hope and just feel like giving up...this was a lovely. bright, mature poem......well done! really excellent |
