you say you cannot be bothered with me
says i you had better be bothered with me
i am the one who calls upon you in your dreams
i am your worst nightmare just waiting on you
even nightmares can live and im very much alive
do you hear the wolves howling they howl for me
they accompany me on my journey through your mind
we are the ones who posses your mind at night
it is us who refuse to let go we drive you mad
even nightmares can live and im very much alive
you quiver at night in fear you toss and turn i laugh
your afraid to get up in the night again i laugh
it is i who put all those fears you live with into your mind
fears you cannot control you cannot make go away
even nightmares can live and im very much alive
you cant live with me and yet you cant live without me
i grow each time your fear grows and thats all the time
i am your nightmare you fight me every night but
you will never have control over me for you see i am you
even nightmares can live and im very much alive
