To Anyone Who Cares

I've been writing many poems of late On love, on life, and how I feel. Verses about someone.... That drip from my fountain pen Asi if they were my blood.... And I write these things These visions from the Twisted and torn depths of my Essence... Because I write my mind.... Not to make people aware.... But to express..... Not to inform.... ...but to vent... Not to make these fruitless words Jump off the page and stun you No, these weak labors of mine Are for me.... Ponder not my intentions For the ramblings of the rambling poet Are known only to the poet and him alone.... Seek not to parse my verses... They are not structured... to be dissected like some animal... Enjoy these words that I have strained to make interesting with limited success And only remember that my poetry Is a window into my heart and soul And offers you, the reader, a chance to peer within....
....sometimes I forget that the window is open......
