*+Overdrive Velocity-*: Acoustic Demo (teaser)

Overdrive Velocity
acoustic demo
by Ghost Moth

it's still early in my dreams
and the spiders catch all the tangled signals
vibrating thru the tremorings
of distorted frequencies
of
dismantled burnt out parts of me
hotwired and unplugged,
disconnected,
broken-up and bugged

you're right, i don't hear you
can't you see i don't want to

tuned out too long
eyes snowed over by the song
played by a mind for deaf ears
is a sign of life one man hears
frustrated with the noise of animosity
destroyed in the surging overdrive velocity
that left me here
in the glow
of the light
from my radio

can't you see
i'm right where i want to be
close to the music
inside
the overdrive velocity

Taking a break from my site redo to look over your poem, Mothy. This is a good write. "frustrated with the noise of animosity" is my favorite line in here and something I feel all too often lately. Hope more postive feelings come to your surface.
Cheers!
J.

Oh i really liked this one as well! It draws you in right from the start and doesn't fail to keep
you longing for more. A fast-paced read, and
great at that. I liked the lines:
"and the spiders catch all the tangled signals
vibrating thru the tremorings
of distorted frequencies"
I can't wait for more! You hooked me from the
start and never fail to amaze me. =)

If this is not a song I can make it into one. Let me know. Awesome write. I wished you'd post more poetry. You are an awesome writer.
