No attention from you,
No love either?
I dont want to argue,
it just makes things worse.
Am I truly unwanted?
Thats how I feel,
please talk to me,
make this real.
Why dont you care?
All I ask from you is answers.
Its not hard to see,
you dont care,
you dont want me.
Am I right mom?
This is so hard.
Do you just not want to,
pay attention.
Lets talk this through.
You dont want to show emotion, right?
Its just me mom, you can talk.
All I want is to know,
Im wanted.
Please let you love show.
I know you have to care.
Im not asking for all your attention.
That wouldnt be fair,
Just a I love you ,
here and there,
would let me know.
Im not unwanted.

| excellent poem, an emotional write and i too can relate to this.i'm 43 and still want to feel wanted by my mom.But what is really helping me is that sometimes people are unable to show love because they do not know how.Show her how. |
