I am
losing myself
in this water
these songs
upon songs
and precious hymns
flung skyward
into the heavens
and I press
my lips
against
God's
in your presence
I am divine
I am water
running forward
always moving
water
knowing no boundaries
reshaping
all
things
as I turn upon myself
and forget to breathe
in your water
rushing
against
eachother
when we move
in your bed
or mine
where we escape
and dream
of trickling
between the gaps
of our own thoughts
like drops
of
water
you are here
the
space
in the
silence
my meditation
my quiet
and always the water
