Pray at night that my life is set Stay in my bed and remember the lack of things I bet
A poker chip falls within my grasp A moment's too late, I let it go I'm not too fast
Hurry up, you'll lose it all I can't believe the words that I'm hearing Life's a game; at war with chess I can't forget; I was never the best
And when I turn away Only good words stay Another moment to lay Ponder the life I live this way
Sickly pale my feelings hang Fragile as a string Breathless and afraid I can't leave without saying
Hurry up, you'll lose it all I can't believe the words that I'm hearing Life's a game; at war with chess I can't forget; I was never the best
